You want me to be happy. You want me to have interest in life. You want me to be content. You want me to be a good person who accepts good will.


That’s what you want. I’m broken. You want me to be fixed. You say I’m not trying enough to fix myself.


When I can’t fix myself, you say I’m the worst. You say I’m weak. You say I don’t know how to take comfort and good will. You say I don’t listen to you.


I’m not who you want. I’m not who you see. I’m strong. I’m passionate. I endure. I rebound. I have dreams. I work hard. I dance. I scream. I laugh. I cry. I’m good.


Don’t tell me otherwise.
